Due to our recent COVID-19 outbreak, we are doing our best to balance the need for basic services with our capacity to effectively respond amid so many facility shutdowns, particularly those that host some of our programs. With this in mind, if you are looking to volunteer or you are in need of one or more of our services, please contact us directly in regard to our open hours and availability for a particular program, service, and/or host site. We can best be reached by calling 612-217-4003 (leave a voicemail please) or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your kind understanding as we work together for good.

Getting enough to eat is a problem for the 15% of US households facing food insecurity. As if that weren’t bad enough, food insecurity with households that have children is even significantly higher at nearly 21%. Through the Food in the ‘Hood program, client-choice food shelves and hot meal programs are operated in Bloomington and North Minneapolis. This program serves 2,500 individuals each month. Our goal is for each registered family to receive high quality essential grocery items, a delicious hot meal, health and nutritional support, advocacy, the “Good News” and a personal touch of kindness from our amazing team of difference-makers.
