Community BBQ

For those interested in getting a taste of the city our urban BBQ’s provide one of the best opportunities for engaging the community in positive manner both individually and in a group context.  Often we are asked by Church or civic groups to provide an urban experience for their team.  We have found that one of the best ways to connect with a community is by providing great food in a simple manner.

If your group is interested in having Good in the ‘Hood serve as a host for your team to have an urban immersion outreach but you have a limited time and budget then this may be the venue for you.  For a very reasonable cost (see below), Good in the ‘Hood will provide the following:

1.  Location (our own location next to Peavey Park)

2.  Experience (we host 10-15 BBQ’s each summer)

3.  Tools (food, grills, tables, paper products, utensils, community prizes, etc.)

4.  Liability insurance

Costs for hosting this event:

$25 per person (10 person minimum) + $125 for supplies (food, drinks, propane, paper products, etc.).  For more information and/or to schedule an event, please contact Brandon at info@goodinthehood.org.
