Friday Night ROCKS

The future of our urban communities lies within the hands of our families and in the hearts of our children. With this in mind; Good in the ‘Hood, in partnership with Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families living within the urban context. Each week a group of dedicated volunteers work together to prepare a meal, provide recreational, literacy and value-based lifeskills activities. This family-centered program is open to all ages. Come and join us for an evening of safe fun and a free meal. We meet at Oliver Ministries Center 2647 Bloomington Ave. S. Mpls, MN 55401 from 5-8:30 pm (please note, due to a revisioning process we are suspending our Friday Night Rocks programming during the Month of March).

In addition to our regular Friday Night program, kids have the opportunity to earn

program dollars which can be used to pay for special events and Saturday field trips (ie. Science Museum, Wave Pool, Roller Skating, Sporting Events, etc.).
