In fact, Minnesota was recently recognized as #1 on the list of volunteers per capita. Way to go fellow Minnesotans!!!

Good in the ‘Hood volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds. True to our mission to “Simply Make A Difference…” we believe volunteerism should be simple. We certainly need and invite individuals and groups to join us who have unique gifts and a high impact capacity. However; it is our firm conviction that any willing person should be given the right and the platform necessary to impact lives, families and the local urban community. Helen Keller once said, “I am only one but I am one. I cannot do everything but I can do something.” With this purpose in mind, we aim to provide user-friendly volunteer platforms so that anybody of nearly any age and background can invest their time, talents and treasure in a manner that simply makes a difference.
